The Rune Sword does scale off dexterity, but the damage bonus isn’t enough to make it a truly hard-hitting weapon. This sword can easily help a player take down enemies, but not through the normal methods. The reason this weapon appears so early on the list is because of its poor attack strength.
The recently released Demon’s Souls remake on PlayStation 5, like the 2018 Shadow of the Colossus reboot, is difficult to talk about. The level design and moment-to-moment play experience of the original game is re-created with a lavish faithfulness, with only a few tweaks that are largely unnoticeable and generally enhance the play. The original Demon’s Souls is a big, challenging, beguiling game, the first in From Software’s Souls series. The strange places in Demon’s Souls are still strange, the scary places still scary. There are no “bonfires” near fog gates or checkpoints added, or anything of that nature. The Remake is actually closer to a Remaster than a Remake, and probably would be called one if the graphics were not completely overhauled. And while that should be mostly good news to Demon’s Souls veterans out there looking to pick this up and play with the noobies, there were some missed opportunities here that I will mention. The locations of Demon’s Souls have never looked so good, realized in full 4k resolutions at 60 FPS, and you have never played a Souls game on console that looked so breathtaking.
In this area, players can sprint to a location where a Giant Tick is located. Players are able to run to get this weapon even though it is found in a later part of the game. Once all of the Archstones become available, go to where the Vanguard Demon boss fight is and take the alternate route through the illusory wall corridor.
